I’m incredibly grateful to share this, and before I say anything else, I give God the glory for it all.

Every Thought Psychiatry began with a desire to practice differently—to have time to listen, to ask better questions, to look beyond symptoms, and to care for the whole person.

But looking back at how this practice has grown, the people God has brought through its doors, and the opportunities He continues to provide, I know I didn't build this alone.

“Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory.” — Psalm 115:1

This recognition is incredibly meaningful to me, but not because I set out to win an award. I set out to help people get well.

I wanted to create a place where someone could walk in struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, or bipolar symptoms and know that we weren't simply going to ask, “What medication should we prescribe?”

We were going to ask a better question:

“What are we missing?”

To every person who has trusted me with your journey: thank you.

It is an incredible privilege to be invited into the vulnerable places of another person's life.

And to my team, colleagues, and others who have supported Every Thought Psychiatry along the way—thank you. None of us does meaningful work alone.

But ultimately, I give God the glory.

The more I learn about the human brain, the more amazed I am by the One who designed it. And the longer I practice medicine, the more aware I become that I can study, prepare, listen, ask questions, and use every tool available to me—but God is the source of wisdom, and He is the healer.

Being recognized doesn't change the mission.

I want to keep learning. Keep asking better questions, and caring for the whole person.

Keep pointing people toward hope, and wellbeing.

So please—

Don't settle.
